Lamarty and SyPly at the UFK GROUP Open Day in Izhevsk

For the Syktyvkar Plywood Mill, the event was another great opportunity to meet partners, furniture manufacturers, and designers in person, present the current product range, and discuss how the materials can be used in furniture and interior projects. Our specialists introduced Lamarty laminated chipboard and SyPly birch plywood, highlighting their key features, decors, and application possibilities.

Guests were also invited on a tour of the UFK GROUP production site, where they could see the equipment in operation, learn how production processes are organized, and find out more about material processing and storage.

But communication was just as important a part of the event. Izhevsk already has a strong design community — almost a professional family. Many participants have known each other for years, follow each other’s projects, share experience, and are genuinely happy to meet again. That is why the Open Day became more than just a professional event: it turned into a lively gathering of like-minded people, with discussions, new ideas, and conversations about future projects.
