The designer set out to create a teen bedroom interior that would not only reflect individuality but also inspire creativity. This gave rise to the concept: not just a room, but a cosmic space filled with light, depth, comfort, and a place for imagination. The room was divided into two symbolic parts — day and night. One side is decorated in white, representing daylight brilliance and clarity of thought, while the other is finished in a rich deep blue, reminiscent of the night sky. The interplay of light and shadow is enhanced by unique lighting: the ceiling is adorned with a constellation of miniature fixtures and a multicolored LED strip that emphasizes the rhythm and "celestial" atmosphere of the room.
Functional zoning of the space was a key task. A light and airy partition was created to separate the sleeping area from the creative zone. To bring the concept to life, SyPly BIRCH Low plywood was used to build the bed podium: first, sheets were laid on the floor as a base; then wooden joists were fixed with metal brackets, and finally, the entire structure was clad in plywood. This solution provided structural reliability. As a finishing layer, the podium was covered with deep blue panels, matching the dark blue walls. A frameless bed base in soft velour upholstery was placed on top of the podium. The bed fits perfectly into the interior — blending seamlessly into the overall "cosmic" theme while remaining exceptionally comfortable for rest and sleep.
The lounge and guest area was also designed with great attention to detail. Soft poufs welcome guests for home concerts, while a large, aged mirror with rounded edges — perfectly set into an arched molding — helps the young musician practice cello technique.
The workspace was designed with the resident’s height and musical interests in mind. A spacious desk, shelves for sheet music and trophies, and a well-thought-out storage system make the room both convenient and functional.
