When arranging a bedroom in a country house, designer Diana Balashova laid the foundation for the idea of creating a cozy space where every element emphasizes individuality, style and self-care.
To implement the plan, the zoning of the second floor of the house was completely rethought. As a result of the redevelopment, a spacious bedroom and a bathroom with two entrances appeared. The character of the interior is set by vintage doors created by the owner’s father, an elegant fireplace portal with inlay and a spacious storage system designed in the spirit of a fashion boutique.
A special decoration of the bedroom was the ceiling covered with gold leaf. Artistic shimmering canvas, created by hand, secured with varnish. The golden decor continued in the bathroom: a precious metal finish was placed on a base of SyPly birch plywood and plasterboard. A durable and moisture-resistant base not only protected the structure from moisture, but also became an ideal base for creating a spectacular decorative layer that harmonizes with golden lamps.
To hide communications in the bathroom, a podium was assembled from SyPly BIRCH Low plywoodincreased moisture resistance. This durable base is waterproofed and clad in gray Spanish tiles, giving the space an understated elegance. A bathtub in the fashionable shade of “peach fluff” was placed on the podium, complementing the overall color concept.
Royal-sized bed in the bedroom, upholstered in red velvet with an oriental-inspired print. This luxurious element has become the central accent of the room. The housewife can place all the little things in round cabinets made of veneer, compact on the outside, but with a spacious interior inside.
The bedroom area matches the impressive storage system. For the wardrobe system, which occupies the entire wall of the bedroom, we chose laminated slabs from Lamarty in the decor "Alicante", complemented by artificial rattan. Thanks to thoughtful content, the dressing room includes many compartments, shelves and drawers, which allows you to conveniently place all your clothes, accessories and other things, while maintaining order and organization.
The decoration of the fireplace portal was an inlaid panel - a replica of a work created by the owner’s father. This unique element adds even more warmth and personal history to the interior. The bright inhabitants of the bedroom are two large “octopuses” - stylish lamps that guard the peace of the hostess.
