The bedroom interior, inspired by the apartment owners’ love for outdoor activities, has acquired functionality and a harmonious atmosphere ideal for relaxation and work. The main idea was to reflect natural elements in the interior through shades and natural materials such as wood and rattan.
A mirrored canvas appeared on the wall opposite the window, peeking out behind the torn sheets - relief panels made of polystyrene foam. The art object adds depth to the space and, according to the designer’s idea, refers to the water surface of a lake in the mountains.
The deep blue color, symbolizing water, lay on the headboard and base of the bed and became the main color accent. The drawer and headboard made of birch plywood SyPlyupholstered with velor. A comfortable mattress with a figured stitch is placed on birch plywood slats. Plywood ensures reliability and durability of the structure. The bed was complemented with pillows in the color of the base, deep blue. Volumetric plaster panels behind the head of the bed set the dynamics of the interior. It took 400 elements to create this object.
Cabinets made from laminated chipboard Lamarty in decor "Calypso", stood on either side of the bed, forming an alcove. The cabinets have everything you need: 4 drawers and a clothes rail. Artificial rattan facades fit harmoniously into the overall style, complementing the natural theme of the interior. The furniture composition is completed by narrow shelves in white with open shelves on the side of the bed, which replace the role of bedside tables. A long cabinet with milled fronts and small arches on the opposite wall acts as an auxiliary storage system.
The work area is highlighted in color. Furniture from chipboard in white for the working corner stood in contrasting lines against the background of the green wall. The shade, as conceived by the designer, represents the forest. The wall is not quite ordinary; it is covered with magnetic paint, which will allow you to use the surface functionally. A pair of illuminated book shelves complemented the work area.
The balcony has become an extension of the bedroom. The same matte green paint was applied to the walls and ceiling. After insulation, an office was organized here. Over the workplace, relief panels grew like bamboo stalks, adding expressiveness to the monochromatic wall. On the other side of the loggia they organized a storage system. First, a box for the facades was built from laminated chipboard, hiding the fasteners behind decorative overlays. Planks were added to the sides to match the color of all the wood in the interior. The doors were secured with the same rattan, expressive handles in matte gold color and the same arches as the wardrobes in the bedroom. A rack was assembled inside the storage system. SyPly birch plywood shelves were installed on a steel frame. The material can withstand heavy loads, so you don’t have to worry about the safety of your belongings. Weightless curtains helped add coziness to the loggia.
