The annual familiarization tour for children to the Syktyvkar plywood plant, which has already become a tradition, was held on August 24 and 25. The unique opportunity to look behind the scenes of production and learn more about how the well-known products of the enterprise are created did not leave any of the guys indifferent.
Before starting a tour of the production sites, young guests underwent a mandatory safety briefing at the enterprise. Then the children began their fascinating journey through the factory floors with great interest. They had the opportunity to observe every stage of the creation of SyPly plywood: from peeling veneer to pressing it and cutting it into a standard format for finished products. In the chipboard shop, the excursionists found out how a strong and environmentally friendly chipboard is formed from birch shavings, and in the lamination shop, it is used to make a modern material for the production of furniture - Lamarty chipboard.
At the end of the tour, the children were shown the impressive awards of the plant and its employees. Here they were able to see how important and inspiring contribution to the development of industry can be. As a token of gratitude for the interest in production and active participation in the excursion, each child received a memorable gift from the Syktyvkar plywood mill.
Such events certainly help the younger generation not only expand their knowledge, but also contribute to the formation of interest in various professions.
