On the second floor of a country house, a bedroom, a dressing room, a cinema, a recreation area and a bathroom united. To correctly separate all zones, the author of the project Maxim Kashin used a special space geometry, which is built on expressive curved lines. The inspiration for the designer was the Guggenheim Museum in Bilbao, which is a combination of many architectural volumes of different sizes and shapes. The interior of the room reflects the same smooth lines in the curved walls. Behind one partition there was a storage system with a small dressing room, and another wall made it possible to organize a bathroom in the room.
Walls and slopes have acquired a lavender hue. The color solution was supplemented by graphics. The geometry of the ceiling was complicated by decorative polystyrene beams painted in the same shade as the walls. As a result, an intense pattern appeared on the ceiling, which became a reference to the strokes of skates on the ice of the rink.
The theme of curved lines continued in the forms of furniture, in particular, the sofa, which complemented the look of the bedroom. It was made according to the sketches of the author of the project Maxim Kashin, who was inspired by the design trends of the 70s of the last century. The body of the sofa is made of durable SyPly birch plywood with a reduced level of formaldehyde. The material is incredibly wear-resistant, which will allow it to reliably perform the main strength function of the sofa during its operation. The top layer of the sofa is the most delicate microfiber, reminiscent of natural nubuck. The same material was used for the upholstery of a custom-shaped bed with bedside tables at the head. Two art objects were placed at the entrance - figures that became an echo of the furniture on the wall.
On the second floor, behind one of the rounded walls, the builders of Dachny Otvet equipped a bathroom with a shower. The theme of flowing lines continues here in the figured module of the washbasin cabinet, a comfortable bench, as well as in sinuous illuminated mirrors.
