From December 1 to 3, the Saigon Exhibition & Convention Center (SECC) in Ho Chi Minh City hosted the 20th multi-industry exhibition Vietnam-Expo 2022, one of the largest universal trade and economic venues in Southeast Asia. The main goal of the exhibition is the development of economic, scientific, technical, cultural and political cooperation between the Russian Federation and the Socialist Republic of Vietnam for joint business, trade, economic and investment relations. This year, more than 200 companies from Vietnam, Pakistan, China, South Korea and Russia took part in the exhibition, representing a variety of industries ranging from food production, textiles, pharmaceutical industry to large engineering. Syktyvkar Plywood Plant presented plywood products manufactured by the enterprise at its stand. During the three days, guests and participants of the event were able to get acquainted with the main SyPly product line, as well as products with special properties and plywood for furniture and interiors. During the period of the exhibition, visitors from different countries were interested in the products of the plant: Vietnam, China, Malaysia, India and the USA. Particular interest was aroused by designers and furniture manufacturers. During the exhibition, the employees of the Syktyvkar Plywood Plant carried out work to maintain the image of the SyPly trademark, and also established contacts for further mutually beneficial cooperation.
From December 7 to 9, Syktyvkar Plywood Mill took part in the fourth international industrial exhibition "Expo-Russia Vietnam" in Hanoi, where Russian and Vietnamese companies were represented. Within the framework of the Russian-Vietnamese forum, a round table "Cooperation between Russia and Vietnam in the field of industrial and civil construction and architecture" was held, at which employees of LTD "SPM" made a report on the topic "Plywood in construction, architecture and design on the example of products of "Syktyvkarsky plywood mill. In their report, the representatives of the plant announced the significant differences between SyPly birch plywood and the construction raw materials used in the Vietnamese market, emphasizing the environmental friendliness of the product, higher physical and mechanical performance, as well as the possibility of repeated use of the material (up to 100 times), which fully complies with the environmental standards of Vietnam . During the meeting, the forum participants discussed the possibilities of reorienting locally produced disposable building materials to high-quality Russian birch plywood.
