The largest new spaceport under construction in the world - the Vostochny Cosmodrome, is being built in the Amur Region near the city of Uglegorsk.

Today, the cosmodrome is actively working on the creation of the second stage of Vostochny - the Angara space rocket complex. Construction works at Vostochny are being proceeded at an accelerated pace; it should be completed in 2022. From January 2023, first autonomous, then comprehensive testing of equipment will begin here so that everything would be ready to launch a rocket by autumn.

“1st FORMWORKING COMPANY” LLC signed a major contract for the supply of SyPly laminated plywood for the manufacture of building formwork for concrete pouring of specialized blocks of the launch pad of the Angara space rocket complex. In order to ensure the reliability of monolithic structures during the construction of the cosmodrome the high-quality plywood of 18 and 21 mm was delivered.

The launch complex of the Angara space rocket complex is designed for 10 launches per year: cargo and manned versions. It covers an area of 109 hectares, which provides construction of more than one hundred buildings and structures. 17 buildings and structures are under construction now.

The Cosmodrome will become a global center for solving the promising tasks of Russia's space activities using medium, heavy and superheavy launch vehicles when construction is completed.
