Ltd. "Syktyvkar Plywood Mill" is avowed to be one of the twelve best sustainable enterprises.

14-15 November 2013 in the Pillar hall of Unions and the Council of Federation of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation within the Russian industrial ecological forum "RusPromExpo-2013" was held the roundtable «Russain environmental compliance of international obligations». Top of the agenda was ecological issue including reclamation.

The discussion resulted in rewarding 12 Russian enterprises with honorary forum diplomas. Syktyvkar Plywood Mill was the only representative of the wood-working idustry which was awarded as " The best sustainable regional enterprise 2013" and got a gold medal "RusPromExpo-2013". The award was another recognition of enterprise's high ecological standards in providing eco safety and materials recovery: emission of pollutants into the atmosphere was reduced by more than one third, the landfilling was abolished, the energy consumption from outside sources was decreased. At the same time we provide workplace safety, improve the products quality - Syktyvkar plywood mill's chipboard of E0,5 formaldehyde emission class has no analogues in Russia.
